What Can a Guided Shore Dive Be Used For?
Cold Water Orientation Tobermory offers world-class freshwater diving, but cold-water diving can feel very different from tropical conditions.
A guided shore dive helps divers adapt to:
- Cold-water exposure
- Drysuit diving
- Weighting adjustments
- Shore entries and exits
- Reduced dexterity in thicker exposure protection
- Local visibility and environmental conditions
It’s an ideal first dive for anyone visiting from warmer destinations.

Recommended for divers who:
- Haven’t dived recently
- Are new to cold water
- Are using unfamiliar equipment
- Want to refresh skills before advanced dives
